December is a wonderful month, particularly if you’re blessed enough to call Wales home! From snow capped mountains to fairytale castles, it is a land full of wonder and rich in cultural heritage. The festive cheer at this time of year means it’s even more enjoyable to get out and about to special events with friends and family.
Whether you live in Wales or are visiting from across the border, it’s an ideal time to acknowledge the unique heritage of the country with some beautiful accessories such as love spoon earrings and pendants. These charming designs are based on the carved wood spoons, a Welsh tradition that can be traced back to the 17th century.
Each design carries a special meaning: some are rooted in Welsh heritage, such as the cenhinen bedr (daffodil), which is the national flower of Wales and can be found exclusively on our site in beautiful pendant form. Others feature Celtic knotwork and hearts, which symbolises eternal love and togetherness.
They are a stylish and sophisticated way to pull your whole outfit together as you enjoy festive activities such as parties, family gatherings, and events. Here are some suggestions if you are all dressed up and looking for somewhere to go in Wales.
