If you look closely at our depiction of an angel, you will notice the Ichthys (“Christian fish”) symbol within its design.

As the story goes, Paul was in the process of designing an angel love spoon but could not decide whether to have the wings raised up or down at the angel’s side. To settle the matter he let God guide his hand, and the current design is what ended up on the page. To his surprise, the angel featured an Ichthys, cementing its place as one of his most treasured designs.
